How to Make the Perfect Cup of Tea
- Boil water
- Pour water into tea cup and allow to cool†
- Scoop tea leaves into tea infuser (or use a tea bag)
- Infuse tea leaves for 2–5 minutes†
- Remove tea leaves. And enjoy the perfect cup of tea!

Other tips
- Pre-warm your tea cup — so that you can enjoy a warmer cup of tea for longer
- Use good quality water — tea is comprised of 99% water, so you can often taste the difference between good and poor quality water
- Use good quality tea — you may be surprised at how much better a quality tea can taste
- Store your tea leaves in an airtight container in a cool, dark place — to avoid the tea losing it's flavour
- Use one teaspoon of loose–leaf tea per cup, unless otherwise instructed
- Steeping tea leaves for too long can result in a bitter, unpleasant tasting tea — so for the best taste, ensure you follow the recommended brewing times listed above
- Ideal brewing time can vary based on personal taste — so find the brewing time that is right for you
